I went on this cruise with eleven friends last weekend. I don't usually post negative information, but I feel there are some things people sailing on this vessel should know before making a decision. First, it is a pretty small, old ship. There are no hair dryers in the rooms and our cabin had only one electrical outlet, making it difficult for the use of multiple chargers, hair dryers, straighteners, etc. Although the room size is adequate, the rooms do not have a mini fridge or other amenities.
This ship also has one tiny pool for 2,500 passengers. It also has 2 four person hot tubs. I also found the restaurant options to be extremely limited to a couple of dining rooms, a coffee bar and a tasting bar. The food is not great, but they were able to accommodate our one vegetarian guest with one menu item per night. The bars on deck are very crowded and it takes a while to get a drink. It is better to find a spot in a lounge chair and wait for someone to come and take your order. Patience is required!
I do believe Carnival did the best they could with what they have to work with.
The beds were comfortable and the room arranged adequately for two people to move around easily. The most challenging part was for two women trying to get ready with only one electrical outlet.
Getting on and off the ship was quick and easy.
