NCL Escape was a fantastic cruise with some service issues - not showstoppers.

Some background, husband 55 and myself 49 -- 19th cruise, a lot of Carnival, Royal, NCL & Princess.

Ported out of Miami but flew into Fort Lauderdale, private sedan through Larry's Limos was $80. Probably wouldn't do this again as an UberXL was only $45.00. As a side note, for any of you shoppers, there is a incredible outlet mall called Sawgrass Mills by the Fort Lauderdale airport area. Outlets such as Gucci, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Burberry, etc. Plus all the other outlets that you can imagine. If you are a shopper, it's a do not miss! Now, back to the review.

Stayed one night pre cruise at the InterContinental Miami. Great hotel and location, definitely get an ocean view room, the view of the cruise ship in the morning is not to be missed.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BX

We did a balcony guarantee and got 11116 -- great cabin, loved the balcony - looked like all the other cabins on our ship. Never heard any noise, except those that allow their door to slam - ugh.

Port Reviews

Tortola

Beautiful island. Make sure you do a tour as there is not much at the port.

Miami

Go to Sawgrass Outlet, amazing!
