Scenic really does an excellent job of caring for their guests from dining to excursions to personal requests. You expect more for all exclusive vacation and they deliver and go beyond. We started with a day in Paris. We dined at one of our bucket list restaurants. The next day Scenic put us on the high speed train in first class to Bordeaux.

Once on the ship, you have three choices each day of what to do in each port. On the Bordeaux Cruise, wine and food are superb both onboard and off from visiting Remy Martin to a foie gras tasting at a duck farm. One of the most memorable experiences is the Chateau. The owner of Chateau welcomes us into his home. While classical music plays, we try the Chateau's wines. We visited a castle, escorted by the owner, to a fortress, situated on a strategic point of the river, to several chateaus for more wine tastings. For those who want to explore on their own, Scenic provides commentary individual excursions at your own pace. I definitely consider Scenic the best of the river cruise lines I've travelled.
