My sister booked a family cruise for her birthday. There was a total of 8 in our party. For some of us, this was our first cruise, and we found it to be a "Wow" experience. The ship provided different attractions and entertainment for all of us. A captains log was provided each day so you would know what was offered daily on the ship. The ship was clean, and well maintained. The crew were constantly cleaning, and I never found the public restrooms a mess. The staff was more than accommodating. I found their services were better than average. The dining areas had a better than average food selection. You just had to pick and chose what your taste for the day or evening would be. The port stops were pleasant, and offered many different options once you walked off the ship. Be prepared to have your picture taken. They have photography sessions quite often. Yes, I would recommend this cruise and crew.
Our cabin was clean, and always well stocked. Our steward was named Carlos, and he always made sure we had fresh linens. Our cabin was maintained the entire time we were on our cruise. The staff was always courteous, and I never felt I had to ask for a single thing while on board the Ruby Princess.
This was a short stop, and one party did go see the lumber jack excursion.
This was the embarkment point for our party.
One party took the whale watching excursion and another party did a hiking excursion. The other 2 couples just went on foot in town.
Two couples did the train ride excursion. The other two couple did their own thing on foot.
