I chose this cruise to celebrate my 30th birthday with 2 of my girlfriends. We had a blast! But, I will warn you, this ship was wild. We didn't realize that it was spring break when we booked this cruise...and man was it spring break! This was my 3rd carnival cruise, carnival is the only ones I book with because I think that they are such a fun loving company. Now the other 2 girls had never been on a cruise so they were first timers. But I don't think anything could have prepared us for the spring break crowd. I am so thankful that I did not bring my 7 year old like I had previously intended.

We are very laid back and were able to look past the drunken infractions of our fellow cruisers. It is not carnivals fault that there were drunk and annoying people everywhere. But I will say that we had an encounter with a drunk female who actually broke dishes in the hall and smeared ketchup on our door. We called security and they were there within seconds. Then we came to realize later that they had disabled their drink cards so that they could no longer purchase alcohol. It was day 3 of the cruise and we thought this was fair of them to do.

Embarkation went very easily and quite smooth. We boarded, bought a drink and went to our room. Our luggage was already waiting which was awesome. But I'm almost certain it was because we were on riviera deck. Our room was quite the surprise. We were thrilled to see that we had a huge window behind the curtains. There were 3 women in this room and we all fit just fine. It was room 1316. It was close to the elevator and in a good location, I purposely chose midship because I was cruising with newbies. This room is also near a STABILIZER joint (in case you'd like to make even more sure there is less movement). It was very clean.

Cabin 6C

Clean and roomy. 3 adult women were able to stay in this room quite comfortably. Nice, big window.

We spent the night at the embassy suites. Quick and easy transfer to the port.

Terrible terrible terrible. If you go here, book an excursion!!!!!

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Took a cab to Royal Palm and relaxed at the beach. So great and cheap.
