This is our 13th cruise and third one on NCL. I was excited to finally book a cruise on a new ship for the firs time. I won't be booking a cruise on this ship ever again. Why? There is only one small pool for the majority of passengers. The pool is loaded with so many people in it and the two hot tubs were packed all day long. My husband and I had to take an island day to get one relaxing day at the pool. One of the main things we like to do is relax around the pool and hot tub. This is not a ship you can do this.

We had a restaurant specialty package. We went to reserve times in the specialty restaurants when we first got on the ship. The only times left were after 9pm and not all the days were open. It was very frustrating - I would not call this freestyle dinning compared to the last 7 night NCL cruise we did where you just went to one of the restaurants of your choice on board when you wanted. The system on board let you know how long of a wait for each restaurant with constant updates.

The room was nice as we had a balcony suite, the food was very good wherever you ate, and the crew was very friendly. The casino was the best casino on a ship I had played in years. You could actually win and keep playing for a long time. The comedians were top notch. We were only able to see two shows because of scheduling problems with the specialty restaurants. We saw After Midnight and the Brat Pack. Both shows were very good. My only comment would be that the stage for After Midnight looked like a practice stage for the show. There was no background to any of the scenes.

The Cabin was very nice and the best bathroom I have had on a cruise ship. Big shower and two sinks.
