First time cruising and was very disappointed, went with my family of six(5 adults and 1 child), The child is 13 years old and was very disappointed in the activities department for her. She was very boarded, and being a bland eater she did not find much variety to her liking. One adult was 74 years of age and somewhat handicapped. the service's were very limited, so this was also a big disappointment, especially getting on and off the ship.
In a whole the food was not very good, not much of a variety(did not change much from day to day). We really were tired of eating the same thing day to day. All in all the food was low grade at the buffet, as for the dining room it was okay but also not to our expectations. The day of departure the staff in the Baltimore port, were rather rude, and conflicted one another. the power went out on the ship that morning so this delayed boarding the ship( until 1230-1 o'clock). When we finally boarded food was not ready as most cruiser's were hungry.
Debarkment was not as bad but again nothing special to help or aid the handicapped or disabled. On a better note the server's were most generous, the Pizza Pirate, Deli, Iguana Cantina, and Guys burger's were very good. In a nut shell probably will never sail Carnival Pride if at all any Carnival Cruise.
