This was our fifth disney cruise. It was of course wonderful. We haven't sailed on the Fantasy for a bit so I thought I would give my tips:

1) Don't bother with Remy or Palo. We liked Remy on our last cruise but I think upon reflection it isn't the best use of time or money. If I compare it to L'espalier in Boston which tries to do a similar thing the food there is simply a lot better - it actually is a little cheaper and you are not wasting cruise time there.

2) Don't bother with the Spa. I went there this time on a whim and they clogged up my hair with oil and the guise of a conditioning treatment - did not rinse off the oil and my hair was a wreck for the rest of the cruise. I complained and they sent shampoo to my cabin but it didn't really compensate. It might be worth it thought to buy a day pass for the spa hot tubs etc though if you have the time.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

I think strangely the family cabins on the Fantasy are less well thought out than on the Magic or Wonder. In addition I wouldn't stay aft - unlike the Magic or Wonder that is not a good location.
