This was my first cruise, so I didn't really have high expectations. Sadly, my low expectations weren't even met. When we got on the boat, we were not impressed... the pools were tiny, not many activities, and we were bombarded with people trying to get us to drink. I am 22 weeks pregnant and was constantly asked if I wanted a drink. One server put the drink in my hand and then tried to charge me for it. Overall, I was asked around 45 times if I wanted an alcoholic beverage. I look very pregnant, so I am not sure if they are trying to promote fetal alcohol syndrome. It was really upsetting that I couldn't relax. Do not go on this cruise if you don't want to drink much.

Also, another huge issue I had was both mornings around 5:30/6:00am there were very loud engine sounds. The bed would shake and the ladder in our room constantly would tap against the wall. The room was also not air conditioned, or maybe it was but it did not work properly. The bed is not a king bed, it is two twin beds pushed together so they break apart in the middle of the night. The food left us desiring more, but breakfast was good! Another positive is hmmmm.... I can't think of anything else.

I remembered another negative though. I finally went into the pool and it was so dirty! Foggy water and tons of bugs floating at the top! The shows they have on board are average, but at least it helps waste time while you are on board. Our excursion was overpriced, but pretty fun. We booked it and did not see anything about pregnancy restrictions, and were not advised of any while booking it. When we got on the bus we were given a form to fill out. We started driving away and soon noticed it said women who are pregnant were not allowed to go on the excursion. We already paid and were 15 minutes from the boat! I didn't say anything and hoped for the best. It wasn't bumpy at all and it worked out fine, but I still feel like I should have been advised BEFORE I booked the excursion.

Cabin Review

Cabin U

Noisy room, and old TV. Good maids though.
