The cruise was enjoyable and pleasant. It was my second cruise on RCCL (the first being Mariner of the Seas) . Embarkation in Singapore was fine.

Surprisingly , I would say this time the most outstanding thing was actually Windjammer - the food was excellent quality variety and the menu changes everyday . Tables were cleared fast and you could find a place without a lot of hassle at anytime (the cruise was full) . The dining room was also good and they served mega tiger prawns during lunch one day. it was fantastic. Service from the staff overall were good but I thought they served tea in a tray at Mariner's dining room but not on VOS.

The BBQ days were also not stated on the Cruise Compass as with Mariner - not sure why.

Stayed at the aft of the ship. Was a bit worried at first as there were some reviews about aft rooms being a hit or miss kinda of thing. I would say aft is perfectly fine and the balcony is much bigger! although there is the ship's aft frame in in front but i dont see it was any concern cause i could still view the sea, beautiful sunset from the great big balcony. dont need to look down at the sea really cause, seriously the whole 7 days, you will be looking the sea haha. the space in front of aft rooms on 6th level is really not that big and far out too. there is a slightly more vibration at the aft but for me it didnt disturb my sleep. after a day, you dont even notice it. and for the record, no you cant see the staff quarters or anything on 6 aft. not at all.
