no long flights. moderately choppy seas upset a few guests on first couple of nights but it was may. lisbon very interesting. if you want to do your own thing, buy a 6.50 euro via gem ticket from the metro. you can use on trams and buses as well. the metro is right outside the docking terminal, something the information desk failed to inform us of as they want you to buy their overpriced tours.

portermao was not so interesting and the pay as you use shuttle bus was poor. we had to wait 40 minutes to get back to ship as the coach capacity could not cope with the volume of passengers waiting to return. cadiz is a charming port. casablanca docking terminal on our cruise was situated about two kilometres from the start of the main centre. you could use a taxi at this port. next the ship.

very good food and service at dinner. destination services not so good. for an old ship, it has charm. the shows, as is the norm for thomson were excellent. cabin comfortable and very clean. two problems within the cabin were resolved within 30 minutes. bars are a mixed bag but there hasn't been any changes to the drinks package from last year that increased the number of premium drinks which carry a small extra charge, most being £1-40. taking everything into account, the cruise is still good value.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside deck 4

clean and tidy. smallish but you only sleep there. if you want bigger accommodation, it will cost. cabin was only 30 yards from the main restaurant, lifts and reception. the lido restaurant is one floor up and a short walk towards the rear of the ship.
