We were celebrating a special birthday; Viking River Cruises were highly recommended to us. We had trouble with the airlines and Viking was very sympathetic and pro-active regarding our situation. The food was excellent. Morning breakfasts were the best. The entire staff on the Magni were magnificent and I cannot complement them enough. We were able to have friendly relationships with the Maitre'd, the waiters and even the Ship's Director and all worked to ensure that our stay on board was everything we hoped for. The cruise excursions were wonderful. The night prior to our excursion the ship filled us in on the ports of call and the highlights of the destination. The tour guides at the destination were very informative. Our ports of call were beautiful, We were fortunate to have a little bit of history and great food and fun at each destination, coupled with learning the culture and seeing the places of interest at each port. I highly recommend Viking Cruises. They thought of everything and helped to make our vacation a wonderful experience.
