MY 60th Birthday treat. My bucket list was to do an Alaska Cruise and we had been recommended by friends to do this with Princess Cruises. The bar service was apalling, the most part the entertainment was poor. We count not find activities the was to sute. Bingo in not my thing. All very Burlingham type activities.

Excursions were good and the restaurant great. Cabin Steward saved the day! Some staff were down right rude. All very disappointing. Would I travel with princess again, only as a last result. Not my first option.

We did enjoy the mentalist greatly, but the singer was extreemly poor. Sang flat. The backing band we OK ish. There were hidden charges in the drinks package which we think the reason is that waiters do not work for them any more. We did complain when we was on the boat and I have to say that we got the charges back.
