Our embarkation and disembarkation which included our air travel arrangements, ground transportation, and baggage handling was handled in an exceptional manner. We had problems with airline delays and we were able to contact the ship and they arranged for our late arrival even providing us a late dinner. On departure they had personnel at the airport to help us negotiate the totally unfamiliar and very busy airport in the Amsterdam. The accommodations on our ship the Tialfi were clean with many amenities and surprisingly spacious. To be honest we did not spend much time in our cabin except on the veranda watching the beautiful scenery slowly drifting by as we sailed.
The food and service onboard was excellent. We especially like the local produced breads and pastries they brought on board each morning.
The excursions each day were led by knowledgeable local guides who provided a special look in to the local customs and history of the area. These excursions were very information and entertaining. Visiting historic castles and cathedrals was a very special and unique experience for us. We also had time to do some exploring on our own as most of the docking point were a short walk into the port towns and cities.
Cabin was very efficiently designed. Lots of space for our things. Excellent bathroom facilities. The view was great from the sliding glass doors and setting on the veranda was very relaxing.
