The time frame fit into my schedule and the price was within my desire. Even though the river didn't cooperate with my trip, I still enjoyed the ship's staff. They did everything to make this cruise enjoyable. Because we did more riding in the buses ( they were comfortable) I would have enjoyed the cruising on the water more. I had selected this cruise for the cruise, not necessarily walking the streets of the interesting cities. I have health (knee arthritis) that made the cobblestone streets difficult to handle. But I have to say the staff made everything so nice. From shaking the hand of the Captain when we boarded so the room attendants, they were great. Our dining was so enjoyable, the meals were excellent and the wine choices were very good. The cruise director was very helpful and fun. My friend and I are looking into another cruise and it will definitely be a Viking Cruise.
