They take such good care of you, they booked the entire trip beginning with the direct flight from the states to Paris. They meet you at the airport, and have you put your luggage next to the bus where you watch the bus driver put it in the bus storage. I visited 4 different countries and many cities and I never had to worry about my luggage from that point on. We stayed 2 nights at a hotel in Paris (again, they took care of all the arrangements) and the morning we were transferring to the boat, we put our luggage outside out hotel room at a designated time and they picked it up. After breakfast we headed to the bus and our luggage was sitting next to the bus waiting for us to identify it before it went into the bus storage. Once on the boat, they take your luggage to your state room while you have a meet and greet with an overview of the cruise itinerary.

The staff are friendly and so helpful, we would leave the room for breakfast and by the time we got back the room it was cleaned. The tours are wonderful, the tour guides are very knowledgeable and some add a sense of humor. They arrange for direct access to sites that would take you hours to stand in line without their prior arrangements. In the afternoon after the daily tours, they had placed towel animals (animals made from the towels) on the bed. We have taken a few of their added tours which included dinner at a restaurant in the town which appeared to be a local fun spot and a great way to end the day.

Since the boat only holds around 250 people, meals are served in 2 hour windows so everyone eats around the same time. There were 2 options, the formal dinning room or the enclosed glass deck (the Avanti Deck) where it was more casual. This is my 2nd cruise and because of the small number of guests you tend to find people you get along with and you end up eating at the same table for each meal, makes it very nice to get to know people. We all got along so well on this last cruise that we are planning another cruise next year with the same group. Just sitting on the boat watching the castles go by while having a drink or lunch is a wonderful experience I'll remember the rest of my life.

Cabin D

The cabin's seem bigger than the sound, and the bathrooms are designed very well.
