Friends of ours had done a Viking Cruise in Paris 2 years ago and loved it, so we chose this one to do together.

My husband and I arrived 3 days prior to disembarkation and had plenty of time to visit Amsterdam. Viking provided transportation from the airport to our amazing hotel Oskura. It was outside the city but very luxurious. The local transportation is simple and if you have questions everyone in Amsterdam we met spoke English. We are so glad we did the additional days because people arriving on departure day just got a quick look around and then needed to board and depart.

We had taken a bike tour, seen the Anne Frank Museum and the most beautiful Kuekenhof Gardens.

Very tiny..... My husband is 6-4 the tight shower was a tight fit for him. I am 5-6 and had no problem. We felt overwhelmed at first trying to get showered and dressed for the day but we worked out a rhythm and by weeks end we were comfortable. The mattress could have been better but my cabin steward Victoria provided me with additional padding which helped a lot.
