We chose this cruise because of its destination itinerary. Budapest was a great city in which to begin. We flew into Budapest a couple of days early in order to explore on our own. Our ship was easily accessed from our hotel. Boarding was quite simple and the the staff was both welcoming and accomodating. Our cabin was really nice, especially the heated floor in the bathroom. Each day there was a new bottle of water in our stateroom and upon leaving the ship each day, bottles of water were available for each of us at the exit.

The shore excursions were very good and plenty of time was allowed for us to go around on our own. Guides met the ship and since we were assigned our tour group ahead of time, there were no problems getting where we needed to be. We had the option to eat in the city or go back on board for lunch in most places.

Dining was a great experience! The food was excellent and there were always a number of options from which to choose. The serving staff was the friendliest we have ever encountered. They were eager to please and always helpful, but more than that, they were a lot of fun! Read more
