Sail Date: Mar 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony

The Castles and Legends Cruisetour was new this year, and I wanted to go from the first time that I read the itinerary. We very much enjoyed Munich and Salzburg before setting sail from Passau to Budapest. Transfers from airport to hotel to ship were seamless. Embarking and disembarking also went very well.

The cabin was quite nice, and the onboard staff was polite, efficient, and helpful. Our coach drivers were all professional, skilled, and engaging. This was our second experience with VRC and I have to say that I was once again amazed by the attention to detail, and the excellant organization both on and off the ship. The city tour guides were excellant and once again exceeded our expectations. The open seating for dining is nice, and enables guests to meet other travelers. Our captain and hotel manager were very nice and really added to our cruising experience on the Danube. I would definitely recommend VRC, and plan to book a river cruise again, in another part of the world, in the not to distant future. Thank you.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony

Cabin A

The cabin was clean and comfortable. I was a little skeptical at first as our cabin was the last room at the end of the hall on the upper deck. It was great though. We were next to the library- a very quiet area, and we had easy acess to the top of the ship via the stairs right outside the library. I liked the fact that the French Doors could be opened to let in fresh air. There was ample closet/drawer space. Appreciated 2 chairs in the room too.
