Let me start by saying that we had a GREAT cruise. However, there are some things you should know before you go. First, bring a T-shirt for the Flowrider. It is not required, but will make the wipe outs a little easier to take. You can get hurt on the Flowrider, but you can have fun even if you are a beginner. Second, bring a pair of long pants. They will not let you go ice-skating without them. Ice skating was one of the best things we did. Third, they do not let you use the boxing ring anymore. You can only use it if you sign up and pay to spar with one of their trainers. You cannot beat the crap out of your spouse. We were really looking forward to that and it was quite disappointing. Fourth, if you drink ice tea and lemonade beware. It is only served in the Windjammer. The Windjammer closes from time to time, so you are stuck with just water down on the Promenade. It was not user friendly at all. Fifth, the service in the main dining room was slow. It may have just been our waiter, but it was almost ridiculous. Sixth, the ice show was not top-notch. We were on the March 20th cruise and they really need to practice a lot more. In their defense, the team is new to the ship within the last month and they are still working on their routine. And, the ice skating area is quite small. It was a beautiful performance though and worth the time to go see. Seventh, the performer at the farewell show, Levent, (I think) was not up to the quality of RCCL. Last, but not least, Labadee is not an island. It is part of Haiti. This is not a bad thing, it just seems a little misleading to say you are going to their private island. You are really going to their private resort. Plus, it is under major construction, including building a dock. With all the dredging, the water is not clear. There is a lot of construction and this place will be awesome when it is done. Right now though, just lower your expectations a little. We had a great time there. Get off the ship and go explore.

Everything else met our expectations and we had a great time. Graham, the cruise director was so funny and really worked hard to make sure we all had a great time. The ship was great. The destinations were great. We had a great time and did just about every activity you can do. Now, don't forget to bring long pants and get out there and have some fun!!!!!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin ?

Plenty of room for an inside cabin. Newly designed shower doors work great. Flat screen TV is a nice plus.
