Background We are a married couple in the 45-55 age demographic with no children. This is our fourth cruise together, two on the Caribbean Princess, one on Celebrity Millennium and finally the Celebrity Solstice. Since we are about an hour from Port Everglades we cannot comment on hotels or transportation.

Pre Cruise Activities To have some fun, and to potentially meet other cruisers, we participated heavily in our Cruise Critic Message Board http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=576849 over 2300 posts and 119 pages gave everyone plenty of time to get acquainted. We also participated in a separate web site photo blog calling ourselves the Celebrity Cruisers http://www.thecelebritycruisers.com/ this helped put a face with a name and was a great ice breaker. If you are the least bit social, participate in any activities with your message board that you plan pre-cruise. Our particular group planned the following activities; Sunday -Sail away at the Sunset Bar, Monday - Celebrity Connections Party, Tuesday - Happy Hour at Senor Frogs San Juan, Friday - Cabin Crawl, Saturday - Goodbye Lunch with gift exchange. Once you are on the ship you can choose participate in as many, as few, or none of activities that a group has planned.
