From a recommendation of a friend we booked on this cruise our first one. Can say we had a fantastic time. Yes there were a few niggles, but you get that with any holiday I'm sure. The Crew and staff were amazing can't praise them enough. Nothing to much trouble for them and so friendly they obviously took a pride in working for the Thomson brand. Entertainment good some West End type shows, comedy and variety shows as well. Cant comment on other people's experiences, but our cabin although small was adequate, after all we only slept in it.

I personally wouldn't book another excursion through Thomson, we went on the Rome one and felt we had been rushed round with no time to take in the spectacular views. A group of us got detached from the main group as our guides sprinted ahead and it was a good 25 minutes before we were reunited. We felt it had been an expensive waste of time and money. It is easy to arranged your own trips as most of the ports are within easy reach of train and bus stations and taxis are near and plentyful.

Food on board was good, please be aware that the kitchens cater for over 1000 guests so it won't be as good as home cooked meals. Everything was nicely presented and if there isn't anything to take your fancy then the staff will move Heaven and Earth to provide something you will enjoy.
