We went to Eagle Beach, as we had heard it was less crowded than Palm Beach. We rented some chairs, put them under a tree, and enjoyed a great, relaxing day.  There was a little surf so we did some body surfing, the water was too churned up for snorkeling.  we also rented jet skis.  We took a taxi there and the bus home.  Also, there was a nice resort across the street where we had a delicious lunch by the pool and watched the iguanas.  

Aruba

I went to Kon Tiki Beach.  It was really cool, with a european, outdoor lounge kind of vibe.  Large sunning beds with pillows, bar service at your chair, etc.  Again water not really clear but fine for swimming. Hubbie and son went to the seaquarium to scuba dive and hand feed sharks (behind a plexiglass thing with feeding holes in it.)Thiw was booked independently.

Curacao

I love St. Martin, but it makes me homesick for Anguilla, an island right off shore that is truly Eden.  The water here in St. Martin is probably the clearest of all the islands, and although I loved our excursion, I would really recommend the beaches here over a tour(especially Dawn Beach)    
Ours was the treetop tour.  Really fun, challenging ropes course with a few fun (not too high) zip lines.  Our whole family really enjoyed this, although I did get some nice bruises.  Please note that I am a gym rat and lift weights, and this was slightly challenging, of course I am afraid of heights, too, so that added some level of difficulty.  

St. Martin

St. Thomas is probably one of the prettiest islands.  We went to Megan's Bay, like we always do when we are here... it's our tradition.  This year it seemed more crowded, and there was actually some slight surf, which I have never seen before here.  The water was too cloudy to snorkel.  We had a great day tossing a football, relaxing on our chairs in the shade, enjoying a wicked strong cocktail from the bar and relaxing.  Time got away from us, and about 3:30 I told everyone we had to pack up and go.  This led to my new nickname, "Fun Crusher" from my 15 son.  

St. Thomas

Getting two balcony rooms creates lots of room.  Actually I think better than a suite (we have done both)

We later realized that we lost our original booking because they have taken a large part of the fifth floor dining room and turned it into "my time dining"  Most of these tables are for two and four, and I am pretty sure this is why we were bumped from our original table request.It was the first table when you walk in the dining room, right by the main service station.
