aReview of Norwegian Pearl - 10 night Alaskan Cruise, May 5, 2016

Just back from this 10 day cruise and thought I would share my experience to help future travellers.

Embarkation (Vancouver) - If you fly in to Vancouver and are going straight to the peer, take the SkyTrain. Goes directly to the port from the airport for $9 Cdn pp, the easiest transfer I have ever done. Once at the port, though, a terrible mess. After passing security you were placed in a holding room of approx. 500 people, where you were brought row by row to the NCL check in line. The whole process took up to two hours. It was so slow that the ship departed one hour late. Safety drill was delayed by 1:30 as a result. Hopefully this won't be an ongoing problem as the ship departs from Seattle for the rest of the season. Read more
