We chose it firsthand simply because of the amazing introductory price given promotionally for this new boat for a whole 7 day vacation! Then we were even more amazed at the exceptional dining options, quality and freshness of food every day even at the buffet, vast entertainment, Broadway style shows, 80's and Latin music along with some modern, and dance options abounding all over the ship. There was so much to do, we hope to go back because we were not able to do it all in one trip. The staff was incredibly and genuinely friendly, from the cruise directors to the room maids,, performers, cooks, waiters, and kitchen personnel, including those in higher positions, etc. I don't recall experiencing even one unfriendly staff or crew member member! That's pretty darn amazing considering the number of staff on board on one of the 5 largest ships in the world and being there 7 nights! My only complaint is a particular show could have disregarded and left out the ongoing unnecessary foul language. Otherwise, the 3 of us attending Norwegian Cruise Lines for the very first time were in awe of this particular vacation, price, and would most definitely visit this ship again if opportunity arose! HIGHLY recommend the Norwegian Escape and I'm excited now about traveling on more Norwegian ships!!! This Cruise Line has surpassed BY FAR the other ones I have traveled on and left us all wanting to try more. GOD is GOOD!
