We spend two to three months overseas each year. We run a cooking school in Lucca, Tuscany for a couple of weeks then go exploring. The luxury river cruises are way out of our budget. We also prefer to vacation with locals in Europe. This Croisieurope itinerary fitted into our schedule and budget. We were very happy.

After a 4 week roadtrip to the bottom of Italy, back up the Adriatic coast, across the Alps to Austria then up to Munich we spent 3 days in Strasbourg before embarking. My mother flew into Munich from Toronto and joined us.

Strasbourg is a beautiful city. We stayed at the Sofitel which was perfectly located for exploring the city.

Cabin Review

Cabin Main Deck Twin

I was surprised by the cabin as we were able to easily unpack three large suitcases. Our cabin was on the Main Deck so our windows weren't as large as the upper deck but we had great views. The quilt cover textiles should be updated - they are almost retro. The bathroom was just as large as those on the Royal Caribbean ships.

My mother booked a single cabin and was given a double so she was happy.
