We arrived in Vancouver the night before our cruise departure. This gave us the opportunity to explore Vancouver the next day before departing on our Alaskan Cruise. My wife and I really enjoyed Granville Island. We did a 25 minute Aquabus tour along False Creek and thought it was very nice. Also, we rented electric bikes at Canada Place and rode the loop around Stanley Park. It can best be described as similar views to the Pacific Coast Highway in California. It was possibly the best bike ride we have ever been on. Fabulous!

After our incredible bike ride around Stanley Park, we attempted to get on the ship. This was not a good experience as there was a very bad backup with customs at the terminal. At one point, they had us sitting in lined up chairs because the wait was so long. We were scheduled to depart at 5pm but didn't leave until at least 8pm. Even though it was not Celebrity’s fault, they gave everyone Onboard Credit for the delay. We received $50 each.

Friday (Embarkation): Pros - Brent Nixon's "Alaska" show; Cons - Late Departure
