Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
We chose this cruise because we wanted to break up the winter in style. We can think of no better way to do that than with HAL, on a two-week cruise in February.
Embarkation was smooth, and the Nieuw Amsterdam is simply elegant. We were in a VA balcony stateroom, which was spacious and practical - lots of closet space. We love the Navigation Deck - a short walk upstairs to the Lido Deck.
We experienced not a nano-second of motion in the room or the corridors.
