Selected this cruise due to time of cruise and special offer. We are seniors and have sailed on more than 20 cruises. From the least expensive such as Carnival to the luxury Seabourn and Silverseas. The ship was dated but clean. The Jr. Suite we had (Cabin #9558) was a nice sice han had, without a doubt, the best walk in closet and shelving we have ever had. Our cabin attendant and our waiter (anytime dining) were excellent. The food for room service breakfast was on time and adequate.
To eat lunch on the pool deck (#11) you had to walk all the way to the Windjammer Buffet which was a long walk if you were at the quiet Solarium Pool. No food stations that were handy. If you wanted a slice of pizza you had to go from Deck 11 to Deck 5..............not good! The ports at Labardee, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozomel were same ole...same ole.............been to them many times and probably shouls have stayed on the ship.
My wife and I just wanted to get out of Florida for a quick week and this fit our schedule. We are taking out kids and grandkids (11 of us) on this same ship in July which we did last year also on another RCI ship. Nice way to get all of the family together and not have to clean up after them!
