ship was laid out very well, food was very good. shore excursions were disappointing and not organized. spent an extra day in Bordeaux due to virus outbreak, however, Viking did a very good job of eliminating the exposure.

cabin was appointed nicely, however, the tv volume from the stateroom next to ours was extremely loud and unfortunately, our neighbors played movies until early in the morning - (2am to 3am). for the expense of a Penthouse Jr suite, the sleeping experience was terrible and the engineering efforts for noise control in the suites is far below expectations. the noise issue impacted our cruise to a significant level and was much less enjoyable due to not being able to get a decent night sleep.

entertainment was lacking and after a few attempts to enjoy the offerings we quit attending because of the experience. embarkation and disembarkation went extremely well and Viking did a very good job of moving people on/off the ship.
