Our background: Couple in our 40's with a 10 year old son. We live in Florida and cruise often. Other lines we have sailed... Carnival, Princess, Celebrity, Royal and NCL.

Embarkation: Smooth and easy. With the Loyalty Match Program we were bumped up to Black status as we are Elite on Celebrity. The Loyalty Match Program is a great perk for MSC. We were able to take advantage of the priority boarding. No credit card is taken during the embarkation process. You register your credit card once onboard at one of the kiosks which was easy and quick.

Ship: It is beautiful and spotless. It appears to be a little dark but beautiful none the less.

Cabin Review

Suite

Cabin S3

We went for the Aurea Suite on deck 10. Cabin 10007. This is actually two rooms. 1 living room and a separate bedroom that is separated by a door

The bathroom is located in the living area. The bathroom was small in comparison to the size of the room however it was very nice with marble counters and flooring. There is also a bathtub.

The couch in the living room pulled out into a full size bed.

There were two TV's. One in each room. The TV's are interactive. This allows you to view your bill, order movies and a variety of other options.

The balcony was narrow as we were at the front of the ship. It wrapped around.

Cabin steward was fantastic.... his name was Nova. Towel animals every night along with sweet notes.
