This trip, without a doubt, was one of our best! The crew were absolutely united, courteous, professional, polished and fun to be with! Our 'included' side trips were well planned , smooth, educational, comfortable, and timely. The variety of "capable' options ensured a 'place' for everyone's level of comfort, and capability! We met a wide variety of people, saw so much, enjoyed a very talented cruse director Casper, our maiter de was a lovely, gracious lady. The locks were a learning experience, and well described as we traveled UP and then DOWN the lock highway!. The bar staff, Johnny and Chris made everyone feel at home, and truly became PART of the journey and it memories. Food services were good.. it WOULD be nice to be able to find' a tea sandwich or such when the hunger pang makes an appearance! Cookies at the coffee bar a nice offer...but sometimes it's NOT the sugar you are looking for. The Chef inner acted with the passengers, and shared his 'secret? apple strudel cooking lesson with 'tasty treats to follow. Denisa, our dining table server, made every arrival special, getting to know the 'favorite beverage, with or without butter, hot coffee, hot tea...NO easy task in a constantly changing sea of faces! Our cabin steward was great RAY, but 'down the hall with NO attachment to us, was Gabby, a cheerful young lady...anytime we passed!!! In trips of past we HAVE enjoyed an 'inside' view of local dances native to the country, and examples of the handiwork of wood carvings, and lace work...dying arts...fun to experience!! We DID totally love the glass blower, and his amazing gift of an OLD family art! Do it again?...ABSOLUTELY, can't really find the flaw, THANKS to each and every kind face, cheery greeting and sincere effort! Til we meet again...THANK YOU!!
