We needed an 8 day cruise to attain our Diamond status with Royal Caribbean's Crown and Anchor program. The Navigator of the Seas was the only one that met the criteria for us. Port Everglades was a piece of cake. Royal Caribbean rep met us at the airport and directed us to an air conditioned bus. We boarded immediately and in less than 5 minutes we were on our way to the port.

We had booked a Grand Suite (1264) so embarkation was a breeze, front of the line service to get our Gold Cards. Total time from luggage drop to onboard the ship was about 25 minutes.

Hit the Windjammer for a quick cup of coffee and a little relaxation before exploring the ship. Nothing new, same as the Voyager and Mariner, and just as clean and welcoming as all Royal Caribbean Ships. Although we are Freedom of the Seas fans, we were pleased with our decision to try the Navigator.
