Having never been on a cruise before, we decided that since the brand new Ovation of the Seas was sailing from our home country, it was time to give this type of holiday a go.

We stayed in a Junior Spa Suite (7236) which we were very impressed with. The room was large and well appointed with lots of storage and a really nice bathroom that was stocked with L'Occitane toiletries. The balcony was big enough to accommodate two sun loungers and was a great place to spend some quiet time.

In the Specialty restaurants that we ate in, the food was very high quality and the service was excellent. The USDA steaks at Chops Grille were outstanding. We also ate at Jamie's Italian, Wonderland and the Coastal Kitchen (which although not a specialty restaurant is only available to suite guests so I have included it in this category).
