We chose the Pacific Eden because it was based in Fremantle which meant no flying! We were very wary of how this cruise was going to go because we had seen so many poor reviews but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. This was only our second cruise, first was on RCI and very hard to compare, so I won't.

Getting on the ship was a breeze, no drama there and when we got on board we were able to access our cabin and found one of our suitcases had arrived with the second arriving shortly thereafter. Arriving back in Freo was just as efficient, we were off the ship at 8.10 a.m. and in a taxi about 30 minutes later. Everything was very well organised.

Our cabin was fine, we had a couple of fantastic Cabin Stewards in Arvin and Martin, nothing was too much trouble for them, very efficient and friendly. Plenty of wardrobe space and coat hangers, I would have liked a kettle in the room though so I could make a cuppa. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Cabin Review

Cabin Oceanview

Cabin was fine but the shore tenders were right outside so we were woken at the crack of dawn on shore days. No problems in cabin itself, although I did wonder why, after a refurb, did they go with such a small TV? Bed was comfy and pillows fluffy.
