First let me say that I wanted to contact Carnival before writing this review because sometimes there are unknown circumstances that can affect any given situation. I wanted to give them the opportunity to rebut, but there is no way on their website to contact them via email. I chose not to call due to the fact that I wanted to be sure I covered my concerns thoroughly and might miss something in a phone conversation.

This was our first cruise and in the interest of transparency it should be noted that it was paid for by a corporate sponsor that had booked 300 room,s as they have done on other cruise lines several years running. This was their first experience with Carnival.

Embarkation was quick and relatively painless. We found our room quickly and our bags were delivered well before nightfall. The upholstery on the pull out couch in the cabin was dirty and worn but you really don't spend too much time in there so we did not let that bother us.
