Friends suggested a reasonably priced cruise sailing to warm climates. After the many problems I encountered I would definitely warn everyone about traveling on this MSC cruise line (Divina).

On the 1st day of cruise, my husband's credit card was refused since he did not already have a pin number contacted with the card. This happened after we were given false information that a pin number was not needed. On day 2, a letter appeared in our cabin complaining that I did not take part in the safety drill. After standing in line at reception for more than 20 minutes, the agent told us that they "make mistakes" and to ignore this incorrect letter. Don't bother to stand in line for meals since we commonly had many passengers cut in line before us, as if we were invisible. ONE day, we were able to get a lounge chair on the decks near the poosl since it was cold and windy. We were never able to get a chair on any of the other 6 days because passengers "saved" their seats by putting towels on the chairs. NO ONE ever removed towels to allow other passengers to partake of the seating.

Then to put icing on the proverbial cake, my luggage was lost when we disembarked at the Miami port. It is now 8 days later and I am still wishing to get my lost luggage back. Even though I filled in a lost luggage form at the Miami port, MSC refused to acknowledge receiving the form. I was ONLY given a business card when I asked for proof of the form I filled in. Needless to say, they forced me to pay almost $65.00 to UPS it home with an additional $7.00 for the phone call. I have been on the phone and email almost continuously to get the process started. Still no luggage back. Our other 5 travels had no such problem. I was treated shabbily and have no recourse.

Cabin B1

Excellent cabin attendant. No one understands how to stop the phone from blinking that a missed call was received. No way to leave messages when calling another room. Reception attendant could not explain how to clear the phone. Pillows are so poor that we asked for 2 more to make an acceptable sleeping pillow.
