I have been on this ship before, about 3 years ago, and was a bit doubtful of all the bad reviews. However, now I have to say I was very disappointed with a lot of aspects of this cruise. Firstly, the positives. The entertainment staff running all the activities were the highlight of the cruise. very friendly entertaining and professional. The guest bands were also really good. Now for the rest. The food was very, very, ordinary. The dining room menu was very limited and most nights the food was poor quality. So, we tried the Pantry. Always the same stations, Indian, fish and chips, Chinese, roast and vegies, Mexican wraps. If only the roasts had been cooked. Every day the roasts were raw in the middle. Before anyone jumps up and down, I do have my steak medium rare and don't like well done meat. But, the roasts were RAW in the middle, and did not improve even with all of the passenger requests. Everything else seemed to be an extra cost. We had a balcony room, and it would have to be the smallest room I have ever seen. No more P & O for me unless they improve dramatically. The cabin floor was wet in places and the hallway outside had a dryer going most nights to dry the corridor.
