We are one of the crazy ones who keep doing these one days. We arrived at the port "Canada Place" and were through security, immigration and ticketing and on the ship before noon. We were traveling with our adult son, daughter and son in law. Surprisingly, we were told cabins would not be ready till noon, so we headed to the buffet. Normally we eat in the MDR or Alfredo's, but the kids wanted buffet. I know why I normally eat in the MDR for embarkation. The buffet was crowded and it was difficult to find a table.. Food was not as good as it has been on past trips. Hot Dog was outstanding!!! We dropped of our bags in our cabins. Son was upgraded from inside to balcony. We roamed the ship till time for muster. Ship is in great shape. We were on first trip post drydock in December and the new carpet and chairs were still in good shape. Muster was delayed about 20 minutes. This was announced ahead of time. Sailaway was a blast. Weather was sunny and warm. Party atmosphere on deck and the crew was great leading dancing and such.

We had ATD and arrived at 6:30pm. We were sent to the traditional dining room where there seemed to be many empty tables. Food was excellent, but was disappointed they did not have the Parmesan basket for the Alfredo. After dinner we attended the trivia and Scary-oke before attending the comic's late show. Steve White was soooo funny. Headed up to Skywalkers and it was PACKED...way too many people for this girl, so we took the elevator to Club Fusion and danced with the house band for about an hour before retiring. 26 yo SIL fell asleep in Club Fusion and 24 yr daughter had to sit out dancing because her knee hurt. Guess they can't keep up with their ancient parents!!!! Proof that cruising keeps you young!!! Time to book another.

ps...Service received by all crew was awesome. This was a repo cruise...Ship switching from Hawaii run to Alaska run.
