I wanted a quick getaway from SoCal to the Northwest, and this was perfect. The ship is in great condition, the food was very good and the stateroom (veranda on Lido deck 14) was fine. Seas were smooth and weather was good. Too cold and breezy to use the main pool or watch movies on deck.

Overall, I'd do it again, but probably add a port such as Victoria or Seattle.Last night of the cruise, they sectioned off a part of the Horizon buffet and turned it into The Crab Shack. For $29 I had a gigantic helping of Alaskan King Crab, with corn on the cob, potatoes and shrimp in the shell, with a starter of salmon mousse, then a seafood chowder and a cheesecake dessert. Oh, and very tasty garlic toast. Vancouver is a great city. I took the Hop On Hop Off tour right off the ship, and it was a bit pricey but worth the expense.
