Highly recommend! We sailed in October and found it to a great time to visit Hawaii. We arrived two days before embarking, stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Beach (excellent, had ocean view room, two blocks to beach) weather was fantastic. We had a 'large balcony' on the Pride Of America, and found it to be well worth the extra cost. The views from our balcony were spectacular, each and every time we stepped out onto it. Our cabin was comfortable, only lacking in outlets. We took a small strip to accommodate our chargers, etc.

The crew was courteous and always helpful. At the time we booked, one of the free offerings was 'speciality restaurants' which we chose. Food in these venues was wonderful, some of the best steak I've ever eaten, and that says a lot as we butcher and are from Kansas.

Hawaii? Beautiful. A great, easy way to see all the islands. We did a helicopter ride (Blue Hawaiian) on Kauai and it was worth every penny; highlight of the trip. It's where Jurassic Park was filmed. On Maui we rented a car and drove 40 mins to Lahaini. There's a great shopping area there along the ocean. We ate at Forest Gump's, sat ocean side. Perfect. Road to Hana...yes we did it, but can't say I'd do it again. It was really long! Not sure the advantage outweighed the negatives for this excursion! All in all, a wonderful, memorable trip!
