My 4th cruise with RC and first transatlantic.... I loved it! The room, the balcony, the staff service, friendliness and professionalism were all terrific. I thought room service, dining in the Windjammer and the Minstrel 4th floor and food was perfect! I never tried any of the specialty restaurants as I thoroughly enjoyed the dining room and the group of people I sat with.
However, I would not use the spa mani/pedi (fire/ice) again, though. Extremely overpriced ($120) and not to US standards .... no gloves worn, nor foot soak prior to starting pedicure, no vibrating chair. I was the only one in the room at the time and the attendant continually ran to the door trying to fix it, rather than letting one of the others who had no customers handle the situation. *** My advice.... make sure you have your nails done before the cruise, or plan to do them yourself.
I haven't cruised out of Tampa before. The lines were a bit long but moved well.
Expensive / overpriced, but enjoyable with a great guide and delicious foods.
**** I am very disappointed that I was told by the RC travel agent prior to the cruise that there would be no horseback riding; and that it wasn't listed online to choose prior to the cruise. So, by the time I found out that there would be horseback riding available, it was already completely filled.
Didn't enjoy this tour so much. Would rather have had the cable car tour of the Rock of Gibraltar, but it was filled.
