Cabin: Large Balcony

Paid for a large balcony. Only got two chairs--no chase lounges. Total ripoff. We had room 8502.

My family had four staterooms -- 8502, 8504, 8002, and 8012. We were told we would have chase lounges by the NCL representative. Only one of our rooms -- 8012 had chase lounges. It had two chairs AND two chase lounges--very nice. The other three cabins had two chairs only. Why would we pay for a large balcony if we only had room for chairs? Would not recommend the front two large balcony cabins on each side of the ship at all. They should NOT be classified as large balconies. The rest of the cruise was fine.

The dining was mediocre. We have only taken three cruises, but my favorite dining was Holland America, and second was Carnival. The food on NCL was good, but not comparable to the other lines. Would highly recommend East Meets West though (complimentary)!! It was much better than the two main dining rooms.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

No chase lounges--only two chairs. should not be classified as a large balcony, due to being at the front narrower part of the ship.

Port Reviews

Maui

Fully met my expectations. Excellent snorkeling experience.

Hilo

Excellent guide. Very informative hike.

Kona (Kailua Bay)

Took a taxi to Kahaluu beach. Very good snorkeling beach. Lots of shopping right at the port.
