I chose this cruise for the price and the destination of Spain. Overall, we had a wonderful time, because we chose to have a wonderful time. However, there were pluses and minuses on this cruise. Pluses included good food overall, good dinner companions, great entertainment most nights, great front desk employees and sufficient activities. Minuses included not enough public spaces for activities that were overcrowded with no room to sit or in the case of dance classes no room to dance. Also with all of the dance classes and the interest in them, you would think they would provide more than one hour a day of taped music (when the guy showed up to turn it on) for practicing the ballroom dances we had learned.

The Centrum was very small and many overpacked activities in that area too. Other minuses included slow clean up of dirty plates and utensils in Windjammer and elsewhere. Very slow lunch service, to the point of walking out of the dining room to eat elsewhere. Ordered room service twice, once it never came at all without any explanation. Almost non-existent bar service throughout the ship. Had to ask for toilet paper and soap from room attendant. Gibraltor tour was way too rushed and not described correctly as far as the level of exertion. Although we are fit enough for it, many of the other guests struggled to keep up. I didn't go to specialty restaurants, except for Rita's Cantina, which was so-so, but other guests said the other restaurants were very good.
