This was our first cruise so did not know what to expect, we were very pleased with everything about the cruise, from the moment we stepped on the ship, we had a basic inside cabin which was small but very sufficient for what we needed, there is a safe in the cabin which you pay 15.00 English pounds for the week non refundable so this was a good idea, you are issued a boarding card when you arrive which you have to show everytime you leave the ship and then when you board for security reasons, also when you order drinks on the ship, their is a shop on board selling basic things and clothes but could be a bit pricey.

We paid for our drinks package up front which is better to do as it saved us quite a bit of money, you can do this on the ship but its a lot more money, you can book excursions before you go or you can book these on the ship, we only booked the Florence+ Pisa tour as this was an hour and a half bus transfer into Florence then another 1hr approx to Pisa, you can do the trips on your own steam.

Also if you are in a wheelchair or have walking difficulties some of the tours were tender to shore which was on a little boat which did not provide any kind of disability requests so just check before you book on those, The staff were all very friendly our cleaning staff were fabulous and kept the room lovely and clean, there was a lot of choice with food you could either go to the buffet or there were 2 restaurants where you were served on you paid for and the other you did not, always food on all day afternoon tea was also provided.
