This was our second voyage on the Constellation. Our first was the ignaural cruise when it came out of dry dock in 2013. The ship was in good shape but clearly needs some pampering. It is going back into dry dock March of 2017. We remain well satisfied and have booked a Sept 17 European adventure back on this ship. The main dining room service was the best experience in the 13 cruises we have taken on Celebrity, Royal and Holland. The entertainment was good not outstanding. The new Elvira show is where all the gymnasts who never made the Olympics go to die. Mediocre at best although the aerialists were outstanding. We chose this cruise based on the itinerary . We were not disappointed All the Ports were great. Chania Crete and Epheasus Turkey are hidden gems. We only took 2 Celebrity excursions.- Malta and Rhodes . Malta was good Rhodes was a waste of money an unethusiatic tour leader. As always we urge anyone to BOOK OF THE SHIP . We highly recommend A Beautiful Day Tour in Naples for the Amalfi Coast. Luigi Martini provided my wife and I an adventure we will never forget.
We used Viatour for Greece. The Tour leaders were phenomenal. In Turkey we used Luxury Turkey Tours. Great adventure plus felt safe the entire time. Pre Cruise we used Jewish Roma Walking Tours which were outstanding.
The specialty dining at Ocean Liners is worth the fee. We ate there twice. Although we did not experience Tuscan Grille we understand it got mixed reviews. Our negatives on the cruise were as follows:
Walked through Venice 2nd time there. Saw the sights
