We picked this cruise because it was a transition cruise from San Juan to NJ and we wouldn't have to fly back from San Juan. We also liked the itinerary of St. Thomas, St. Marten, 3 sea days plus overnight in Bermuda. It was my husband's first cruise and my 15th and I felt like it was a good taste of what cruising has to offer.

Our Aqua class cabin was on deck 11 off the back of the ship. The balcony was HUGE but I don't think I'd book it again. The shows on the 12th deck above us bleed down to the balcony and make for a noisy experience. I booked the Aqua Class as a guarantee and ended up on deck 11. There was an aft cabin available (1141) so I took it. It was great to get the expensive cabin off the back o0f the ship for the guarantee price but I definitely would not pay extra for it on the Summit. For a cabin that touted as a relaxing "Aqua Class" retreat, hearing Foreigner blasting "Dirty White Boy" in the middle of the day was not my idea of relaxing. Plus when there is music at the aft bar at night there was often the music and noise from that plus a movie going on above on deck 12. Sort of felt like I was in Mardi gra.

The shows in the theater were all very good with the exception of house troupe which was lame. The Blu restaurant was excellent and the service was great.
