My sister and I sailed on the Enchanting Vistas Itinerary leaving on 30th April, repositioning from Palma to Corfu, so just 6 nights. This was my 7th Thomson cruise, and 2nd on The Dream. No other line to compare but again thoroughly enjoyed it. We know it isn't 5star but neither is the price. Well worth what we paid. Easy embarkation, though werent shown to our cabin as we were on previous cruises, but easy enough to find. Cabin 5071 was midship outside plus. well positioned, comfortable. no noise issues. and kept lovely by Annan. We ate in Lido for breakfast, tended to be Sirens for afternoon tea and main dining room for dinner. We were well looked after by the waiters there, Hendrick. Renalyn and Raymond. Food we thought was lovely and a good choice. Entertainment in Broadway was fantastic. something different every night. We didn't really send much time in the Medusa lounge, just not our thing, but looked to be plenty of different entertainment and very busy. The only thing we noticed is that the twice we spent in the Medusa Lounge there appeared to be a shortage of drinks waiters. We normally after the show had a few drinks in Tides and no waiter shortage there. Brilliant waiter, forget his name, knew our order soon as soon as he seen us. Very nice duo playing. We went on 4 trips and all were excellent, very good guides and well worth the money. So all in all another good cruise. I only gave 4 stars as if I had been drinking in Medusa the lack of waiters might have bothered us, and we were never once asked if we wanted a drink in the Lido or Sirens as no waiters to be seen. Though the staff were as usual fantastic and couldn't do enough..apart from the chap who sold us an excursion and when he gave us the tickets there and then I said would save him a trip to cabin to drop them off later as previous ones were, answered "do I look like someone who delivers tickets to cabins" I didnt mean to be offensive, and was quite funny, as... erm yes I didn't see why he wouldn't drop them off, but an insult to the lovely staff who do deliver. not a team player then and full of his own self importance!

Cabin Review

Cabin outside plus

midship - no cabins directly opposite. very quiet. and we had a bit of rough seas and we were fine.
