Nice ports but the cruise line is stingy on information.

We choose the cruise for the ports of call. The ship was fantastic, the food was very good and the service staff was excellent. The information flow was horrible. This was our first cruise in over 25 years and it appeared that the staff assumed that everyone aboard was a veteran cruiser. We attended the first nights event that was suppose to give us an overview of the days to come and it did give us some information but nothing about how to figure out where to go or how to get to the needed locations. The itinerary was also very misleading. When you arrive at the destinations listed, it will cost you extra money just to get to the locations. It's another way to milk money out of the passenger. After landing in the various ports, we figured out that buses, taxis, etc. would be waiting for customers and cruise critic did give us some of that information.
