Sail Date: May 2016

This was our 9th cruise. We love cruising. Quite honestly we had sailed Norwegian before, the Gem and were disappointed. Thought the boat was a bit outdated and the food was just "OK". We decided to try them again and went aboard the Breakaway.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Beautiful ship - all updated and impressive to look at. Fun things to do around every corner. A mini bowling alley in the Irish Pub (which had great wings and corned beef sandwiches)....air hockey, video arcade, rock climbing...you name it. The only thing that seemed like it should have been bigger was the pool area - it was always ridiculously crowded, but I guess that's what you get with 4,000 passengers.

We did the Brazilian BBQ restaurant - fabulous! The French Bistro - very good! Teppanyaki (Hibachi) - one of the best meals I've ever had. They really outdid themselves. The food in the main dining room was great as well.

King's Wharf

Bermuda is one of my favorite islands to visit - we've now been there 3 times. It was a little windy and we had rain 1 day, but I love this island. Everyone is so friendly, it's clean and safe. We'll be back!!
